This is non-competitive event which takes place in the splendid surroundings of the Huddersfield Town Hall Concert Hall.

                       Festival Dance Showcase 2026

Our local area has many varied, and diverse, dance groups and organisations who work hard throughout the year to develop and perfect their art.

To celebrate this, the ‘Festival’ invites several of these groups to have the opportunity to prepare and perform their specific styles and skills in front of a ‘live’ audience.

It promises to be another exciting and entertaining evening for both audience and performers!

A repeat of our exciting and popular event aimed at attracting older adults to disco dance and ‘bop’ the afternoon away!

 

With strictly dance music from the 50s,60s,70s,80s,90s plus several more recent dance tunes included, it will prove to be an enjoyable, active, and nostalgic afternoon.

 

A local professional DJ will entertain, and the session will also feature a ‘live’ set from ‘U3 Band’.
